The Samsung SolarCell remote is entirely solar-powered. There are two solar panels on the back, which provide the battery with a constant charge for up to two years.

The reset process is a little bit different for the 2021 Samsung SolarCell remote. Follow the steps below to reset it:
- Remove the batteries from your remote.
- Press and hold the Power button for about eight seconds.
- Reinsert the batteries.
After resetting the remote, you’ll need to pair it back to your Samsung TV.
