Want to control multiple devices with one remote or use features like turning your TV on and off with a Chromecast remote? You can enable HDMI CEC (Anynet+) on your Samsung TV to make it happen. Here’s how to do it:
Steps to Turn On HDMI CEC (Anynet+):
For Newer Samsung TVs:
- Access Settings
- Use your remote to navigate to the Settings menu.
- Find HDMI CEC (Anynet+)
- Scroll to Input Device Manager.
- Locate Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) in the menu.
- Toggle it On (if it’s off).
For Older Samsung TVs:
- Open All Settings
- Navigate to Settings and scroll to All Settings for the classic UI.
- Go to Connection Settings
- Select Connection from the menu.
- Choose External Device Manager.
- Enable HDMI CEC (Anynet+)
- Locate Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) and toggle it On.
Once enabled, you can use one remote to control multiple connected devices or allow devices like Chromecast to manage TV power.
