If you change the WiFi Settings on your Yi Home App, your camera cannot access both networks. It can only use one network at a time.

Using your Yi Home Camera with a hotspot is possible, but it is recommended to use a landline-based network whenever possible.

Change the WiFi Information on your Yi Home Camera

To change the saved WiFi login information on your Yi Home Camera, you must change the information in the Yi Home App.

1. Open the Yi Home App that you use to control and view your Yi Home Camera
2. Select the app’s Settings from the menu within the app
3. Select Device Settings
4. Select WiFi Settings
5. Change the saved information to the WiFi SSID and Password of the new WiFi network

Re-add your Yi Home Camera to your Yi Home App

3. Tap the “+” icon in the upper-right corner of the screen
4. Enter your WiFi Name and password
5. Tap Next – a QR code will now be displayed on the screen

8. You should hear “Pairing is successful”
