If you’ve blocked someone and decided it’s time to give them another chance—whether it’s a phone number or an email address—unblocking them is super simple. Here’s how to do it step by step.
Steps to Unblock Contacts
- Open Settings: Start by opening the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Go to the Phone App: Scroll down and find Phone in the list of apps. Tap to open it.
- Access Blocked Contacts: Scroll down and tap Blocked Contacts. This will display a list of all the phone numbers and email addresses you’ve blocked.
- Unblock a Contact:
- Swipe left on the contact you want to unblock.
- Tap the Unblock button that appears.
- Alternative Method:
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner.
- Use the red minus sign next to the contact to reveal the Unblock button.
Notes
- Tapping a contact in the blocked list won’t unblock them—it just opens their details. Stick to the swipe method or use the Edit button to manage your list.
- Once unblocked, the person will be able to call, text, or email you again.
That’s it! Unblocking people on your iPhone is quick and easy.
