Got old Facebook pages you don’t use anymore? Here’s a quick guide on how to delete them on both mobile and desktop.
On Mobile
- Open Facebook and go to the menu.
- Switch to the page you want to delete.
- Once on that page, open the menu again and tap the settings wheel.
- Scroll down to Access and Control and select Deactivate or Delete.
- Choose Delete Page (keep in mind, it’s permanent but reversible for 30 days).
- Pick a reason for deleting and hit Continue.
- You’ll have the option to download or transfer info before deletion—skip this if you don’t need it.
- Enter your password, confirm deletion, and you’re done!
And that’s it! Your page should now be gone.
On Desktop
- Log into Facebook and go to the Account dropdown in the upper right.
- Click See All Profiles and select the page you want to delete.
- Go back to the Account dropdown and select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Scroll to Access and Control, then select Delete Page.
- If prompted, you can download any info you want to keep. Skip if unnecessary.
- Enter your password, confirm, and you’re good to go!
That’s how to delete those extra Facebook pages on both mobile and desktop.
