How to Remove Yourself as an Admin from a Facebook Page

If you no longer want admin access to a Facebook Page, you can remove yourself in just a few steps. Here’s how to do it:

Open Your Facebook Page

  1. Log in to Facebook and navigate to the Page you want to leave.
  2. Click on Professional Dashboard in the left-hand menu.

Access Page Roles

  1. Scroll down and select Page Access.
  2. Find your name listed under People with Facebook Access.

Remove Yourself as Admin

  1. Click the three dots next to your name.
  2. Select Remove Access.
  3. Enter your Facebook password when prompted and hit Confirm.
  4. Check your email for a verification code and enter it in the required field.

Confirm Removal
Once the process is complete, your access to the page will be revoked, and it will no longer appear under your account.

Important Note: If you are the only admin on the page, Facebook may prevent you from removing yourself. However, in some cases, you can still proceed with the removal.
