Your rolling TV stand is cluttered with messy, visible power and device cables. You can clean up your setup with a few simple tools and some careful routing.

  1. Mount your Apple TV or streaming device to the back of the TV near the edge using a dedicated case or mount so the remote remains responsive [1:06].
  2. Gather your excess HDMI and power cables, then wrap them tightly and secure them in place using reusable Velcro straps [1:26].
  3. Attach a surge protector to the back of your TV frame using strong, double-sided mounting tape [1:49].
  4. Plug all of your device power cords into the mounted surge protector and secure the extra slack with more Velcro straps [2:15].
  5. Run a single long extension cord from the surge protector down the stand and secure it firmly with zip ties to ensure it doesn’t move while you roll the cart.

Ninja Tip: Use color-coded labels or masking tape on both ends of your power cords so you can easily identify which cable belongs to the TV, the soundbar, or your streaming device when you need to troubleshoot later.

If you still experience persistent connectivity issues, you can perform a factory reset via Settings > System > Advanced system settings.
