How to Change the Wi-Fi Network on Your Apple TV

Your Apple TV is connected to the wrong Wi-Fi network. You can update these settings yourself in just a few moments.

  1. Open the Settings app on your Apple TV home screen [0:35].
  2. Scroll down and select the Network menu [0:39].
  3. Choose the Wi-Fi option at the top of the list [0:44].
  4. Select the network you want to join from the list and enter the password if prompted.

Ninja Tip: If your Apple TV is having trouble connecting to a new network, try restarting your router first, as the issue is often with the router’s IP address assignment rather than the Apple TV itself.

If you continue to have connection issues, you can perform a factory reset by going to Settings > System > Reset.
