Your Blink camera loses connection to the Sync Module when the distance between the two devices is too large. You can fix this by finding the optimal placement for your hardware.
- Set up your Sync Module in a central location inside your home [0:07].
- Use a measuring app on your phone to track the distance as you walk the camera away from the Sync Module [0:29].
- Monitor your camera feed in the Blink app to see exactly where the signal starts to freeze or cut out [1:33].
- Aim for a range of 40 to 50 feet to keep your connection stable and reliable.
Ninja Tip:
Physical obstructions like concrete walls or large metal appliances can drastically reduce your signal range. If you still have connectivity issues, try relocating the Sync Module to a higher position or further away from electronic devices that might cause interference.
If you continue to experience connection failures, perform a factory reset by pressing the reset button on the Sync Module until the lights flash.
