You cannot find your physical Roku remote. You can turn your smartphone into a functional remote control using the official Roku app.

  1. Download the Roku app from your phone’s app store and log into your account. [0:08]

  3. Tap on the “Devices” tab in the app and select your Roku device once it appears on the screen. [0:21]
  4. Select the remote option in the app to begin controlling your TV.

Ninja Tip: If the app still doesn’t find your device, try restarting both your router and your Roku player, as this often clears up local network discovery issues that prevent the app from seeing the TV.
