You currently have a phone number blocked on your iPhone that you need to reach again. You can fix this by adjusting your settings to remove them from your block list.
- If you still have the person saved in your contacts, open their contact card, scroll to the bottom, and select Unblock this Caller. [0:17]
- If you deleted the contact, open Settings and scroll down to select Phone. [0:37]
- Tap on Blocked Contacts to see your list of restricted numbers. [0:52]
- Swipe to the left on the number you want to unblock and tap the red Unblock button.
Ninja Tip: Check your Silence Unknown Callers setting in the Phone menu if you are still not receiving calls from people who aren’t in your contacts. This setting often gets mistaken for a blocked number when it is actually a separate feature entirely.
If you still cannot receive calls after unblocking, navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
