You currently have a phone number blocked on your iPhone that you need to reach again. You can fix this by adjusting your settings to remove them from your block list.

  1. If you still have the person saved in your contacts, open their contact card, scroll to the bottom, and select Unblock this Caller. [0:17]
  2. If you deleted the contact, open Settings and scroll down to select Phone. [0:37]
  3. Tap on Blocked Contacts to see your list of restricted numbers. [0:52]
  4. Swipe to the left on the number you want to unblock and tap the red Unblock button.

Ninja Tip: Check your Silence Unknown Callers setting in the Phone menu if you are still not receiving calls from people who aren’t in your contacts. This setting often gets mistaken for a blocked number when it is actually a separate feature entirely.

If you still cannot receive calls after unblocking, navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
