How to Turn On Subtitles on Tubi

Your movies are playing without any subtitles or closed captioning. You can fix this by adjusting the settings in your app or on your device.

1. Open the Tubi app and start playing the movie or show you want to watch [0:07].
2. Navigate to the chat bubble icon located at the bottom right of the playback screen and select your preferred subtitle language [0:32].
3. If the in-app option is missing or ineffective, go to your device settings, select accessibility, and set the caption mode to always on [1:05].

Ninja Tip: If you are using a Smart TV or streaming stick, check if the global accessibility settings for the entire device are overriding the app-specific preferences.

If you still cannot see captions, perform a factory reset by going to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset.
