Your LG TV has a black screen, making it impossible to see the menu settings. You can enable the built-in audio guidance to hear the menu options and troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Press the Settings button on your remote to open the main menu [0:51].
  2. Press the down arrow button on your remote six times to navigate to the Accessibility settings [1:01].
  3. Hit the Select or OK button to enter the Accessibility menu [1:22].
  4. Scroll down five times to reach the Audio Guidance option [1:30].
  5. Press the right arrow button once to select it [1:37].
  6. Press the OK button to open the Audio Guidance settings [1:46].
  7. Press the up arrow button to highlight the toggle switch [1:50].
  8. Press the OK button to turn on the audio guidance feature.

Ninja Tip: Many LG Magic Remotes have a shortcut for this; try holding down the Mute button for several seconds to automatically open the accessibility settings menu.

If the screen remains black, you can perform a hard reset by navigating to Settings > General > System > Reset to Initial Settings.
