Your Mac dock keeps jumping from screen to screen as you work. You can fix this behavior with a simple settings change.
- Open your System Settings and navigate to the Desktop & Dock section [1:13].
- Scroll to the very bottom of the menu to find the Mission Control options [1:22].
- Toggle the switch next to Displays have separate Spaces to the off position [1:28].
- Log out of your user account and log back in to ensure the change takes effect.
Ninja Tip: If you prefer keeping your spaces separate but still want a static dock, look for third-party utilities like DockLock in the Mac App Store to lock the dock to your primary display.
To revert these changes, you can navigate back to System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Mission Control and enable the setting again.
