Steps to Screen Record

  1. Open the Control Center:
    • Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen (or up from the bottom on older models) to access the Control Center.
    • Look for the Screen Recording icon, which is a white dot inside a circle.
  2. Add the Screen Recording Button (if not visible):
    • Tap the Settings app and navigate to Control Center.
    • Scroll to the More Controls section.
    • Find Screen Recording in the list and tap the plus sign (+) to add it.
  3. Start Recording:
    • Open the Control Center and tap the Screen Recording button.
    • A 3-second countdown will appear, and the button will turn red, indicating that recording has started.
  4. Stop Recording:
    • Tap the red recording bar or bubble at the top of the screen.

    • The screen recording will automatically save to your Photos app.
    • Open the Photos app to view or edit your recording.

Tips

  • Ribbon Display: A red ribbon or bar appears during the recording. Unfortunately, this cannot be removed during the recording process.
  • Control Customization: You can customize your Control Center to add other tools alongside the screen recording feature for convenience.
