Facebook does not provide a direct button to share another user’s story to your own profile. You can repost these stories by using the native sharing tools available within the app.
- Locate the story you want to repost and tap the share icon at the bottom of the screen [0:19].
- Select the Your story option from the sharing menu that appears [0:37].
- Customize your story by pinching the screen to resize the image or move it around to your preference [0:42].
- Add any desired text or mute the sound if you prefer to keep your post silent [0:52].
- Tap the share button to finish posting the story to your own account.
Ninja Tip: Remember that you can only repost a story if the original poster has their privacy settings configured to allow sharing; if you do not see the share icon, the user has likely disabled this feature.
For persistent issues with Facebook features, you can clear your cache by navigating to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Media > Clear.
