How to Manage Your Blink Camera Armed and Disarmed Modes

Your Blink camera is currently stuck in the wrong mode or recording when it should be quiet. You can easily adjust these settings directly inside your Blink app.

1. Locate the Armed and Disarmed status buttons at the bottom of your Blink app to control your overall system state [0:00].
2. Tap the Bell icon next to a specific camera if you need to snooze notifications for a set amount of time while keeping the system armed [1:20].
3. Toggle the Running Man icon to quickly turn off or on motion alerts for an individual camera without changing your master system settings [1:49].
4. Open your Blink app settings and navigate to Device and System Settings to set up an automated schedule for your system [2:56].
5. Select your system under the scheduling menu to choose the specific days and times you want the cameras to arm or disarm automatically [3:11].

Ninja Tip: If you notice your camera is still missing motion, try creating an Activity Zone in your motion settings to ignore high-traffic areas like swaying trees or busy streets that might be triggering false alerts.

If you encounter persistent issues with your system, you can perform a full reset by removing the batteries and unplugging your Sync Module to restore factory defaults.
