Your Sonos speakers are playing audio individually instead of synchronized across your home. You can fix this by creating a group in the Sonos app.

  1. Open the Sonos app and tap on the settings menu [0:13].
  2. Select the option for “Groups” and choose to create a new group [0:17].
  3. Give your new group a recognizable name [0:21].
  4. Select the available speakers you want to include in this group [0:29]. Make sure all the speakers you want to group are powered on and connected to your network so they appear in this list.
  5. Tap save to finalize your group creation [0:53].
  6. Navigate to your music playback screen and select your newly created group from the system list to start playing audio across all assigned speakers.

Ninja Tip: If a speaker refuses to join a group, check the Sonos app to ensure all devices are updated to the latest firmware version, as mismatched versions often cause grouping failures. You can verify this by going to Settings > System > System Updates.

For persistent connection issues, perform a factory reset by navigating to Settings > System > [Speaker Name] > Remove Speaker.
