Your TP-Link Kasa bulbs and plugs are currently not responding to Alexa voice commands. You can restore connection by re-linking the smart home skill.

  1. Open the Alexa app on your phonetap the More tab, and select Skills & Games (1:28).
  2. Search for the TP-Link Kasa skill to open its settings page (1:36).
  3. Select Disable Skill and confirm your choice to disconnect the account (1:55).
  4. Re-enable the skill and log in with your Kasa credentials to re-link your account (2:11).
  5. Wait for Alexa to finish searching for your existing devices and then close the setup window.

Ninja Tip: Check that your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is active, as Kasa devices frequently lose connectivity if your router switches to a 5GHz band or encounters IP address conflicts.

If the issue persists, perform a factory reset by holding the power button on the plug or toggling the light switch on and off repeatedly as instructed in the Kasa app under Device Settings > Reset.
