You cannot listen to your Spotify music when you are away from an internet connection. You can fix this by saving your content to your device ahead of time.
- Open your Spotify app and navigate to the playlist or album you want to save. Tap the downward-pointing arrow icon to start the download process [0:37].
- Open your profile menu, go to Settings and Privacy, and select Audio Quality to enable cellular downloads if you aren’t on Wi-Fi [0:53].
- Toggle on Download using cellular at the bottom of the menu so your music saves without a wireless network connection [1:08].
- If you want specific tracks, create a custom playlist containing those individual songs and then hit the download arrow for that entire playlist.
- Access your saved music by going to your Library tab where you can browse your downloaded albums and playlists [1:53].
Ninja Tip: Check your Storage settings in the app to see how much space your offline music is taking up, and consider lowering the audio quality if you need to free up room for more tracks.
If you still experience issues, perform a clean reinstall by navigating to Settings > Storage > Clear Cache on your device.
