How to Connect Your Samsung TV to a Mobile Hotspot

Your Samsung TV has no internet connection and you need to use your phone’s data. You can fix this by linking your television to your mobile hotspot.
- Open the settings on your phone, find the personal hotspot menu, and make sure it is active so others can join [0:29].
- Set a secure password for your hotspot that is at least nine characters long [0:41].
- Press the home button on your Samsung remote, navigate to all settings, select connection, and then open the network settings [1:12].
- Choose wireless to let your TV search for nearby networks [1:52].
- Select your phone’s network name from the list [2:13].
- Enter your hotspot password carefully and select go to finalize the connection.
Ninja Tip: If your TV still won’t connect, turn your phone’s hotspot off and on again, or toggle the Maximum Compatibility setting on your iPhone to ensure older TV hardware can see the signal.
If the network connection remains broken, perform a full reset by going to Settings > General > Reset.
