If you’re like me and tend to hoard tabs on your phone, Safari makes it easy to close them all at once. Here’s how to do it using two simple methods.
Method 1: Use the Safari App
- Open Safari: Start by opening the Safari app on your iPhone.
- Access the Tab View: Tap the two squares icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to open the tab overview.
- Press and Hold the Tab Icon: Press and hold the two squares icon. A menu will appear with the option to Close All Tabs.
- Select Close All Tabs: Tap this option to close all of your open tabs instantly.
Method 2: Use Safari Settings
- Open Settings: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Find Safari: Scroll down and tap on Safari in the list of apps.
- Clear History and Website Data: Scroll down and select Clear History and Website Data.
- Enable Close All Tabs: When prompted, toggle the option to Close All Tabs.
- Confirm: Tap Clear History to close all tabs and clear your browsing data.
Now your Safari browser is free of clutter, and you can start fresh.
