Your iPhone is out of storage space. You can free up room by following these simple management steps.
- Open your Settings, tap General, and select iPhone Storage to see a breakdown of how your data is being used [0:06].
- Review your large attachments to find and delete old videos you no longer need [0:30].
- Offload unused apps to remove the app itself while keeping all your personal documents and data intact [0:59].
- Disable automatic podcast downloads in your settings if you find that episode files are taking up too much room [1:37].
- Manage your photo library by setting up iCloud Photos to offload original files or by moving your pictures to an external drive.
Ninja Tip: Check your “Recently Deleted” folder in the Photos app, as items there stay on your device and consume storage for 30 days before they are permanently removed.
If you still need more space, perform a factory reset by navigating to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings.
