How to Change Your Spotify Playlist Cover on iPhone

Your Spotify playlist currently displays the default cover art from the first song in your list. You can easily customize this to include your own photo or a unique design.

1. Open your playlist in the Spotify app and tap the “Name and details” section [0:16].
2. Tap the edit icon located directly inside the playlist image [0:24].
3. Select your preferred method to either choose an existing image from your library or take a new photo [0:29].
4. Crop your chosen photo to fit the frame and tap “Use photo” to set it as your cover [0:37].
5. Alternatively, select “Create cover art” to use Spotify’s built-in design tools to customize a background and text [0:52].
6. Once you are happy with your new design, tap Save to update your playlist cover.

Ninja Tip: You can also change your playlist cover on the Spotify desktop app by simply clicking the three dots on the playlist page and selecting “Edit details” to upload a custom image file.

If you encounter persistent issues with your profile or playlist synchronization, navigate to Settings > Storage > Clear cache.
