How to Change Your Instagram Password

You need to update your Instagram password to keep your account secure. You can complete this change by following a few simple steps in your account settings.

1. Open your Instagram profile by tapping your profile picture in the bottom right corner [0:18].
2. Tap the three lines in the top right corner and select Account Center [0:21].
3. Go to Account settings and select Password and security [0:35].
4. Select the Change password option and choose the specific account you want to update [0:43].
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your new password, and check your email for any verification requests if prompted.
