The 2nd and 3rd Generation models of the Ring Stick Up Cam have a field of view measuring 130°diagonal, 110° horizontal, 57° vertical, whereas the Elite model has a slightly larger field of view measuring 150° horizontal, 85° vertical.
This makes it the superior choice for surveying larger indoor and outdoor spaces like lawns, social rooms, decks, etc.
If you intend to purchase a Ring security camera for smaller or more narrow spaces, like your front porch, entryway, or hallways, then the standard Ring Stick Up Cam should be sufficient.
Power Sources
One reason why the Ring Stick Up Cam is so versatile is because there a multiple power options you can choose from at the point of purchase. The 2nd and 3rd Generation Ring Stick Up Cam can be powered via:
