The internet of things is the interconnectivity of your appliances and household products. Your appliances can talk with your phone and give you regular notifications and updates on their maintenance needs, their stocking needs (in the case of a refrigerator), or how other products in the network are doing. If this sounds like heaven, then the RoboVac 11S isn’t for you.

The Eufy RoboVac 11S doesn’t have access to WiFi. The only way to operate the RoboVac 11S is to use the included infrared remote control. You can change your settings, cleaning schedule, and even suction control with the remote. You can even drive the vacuum like a toy car.

There are many tiers of robotic vacuums in the Eufy line. The models differ in many ways, but the most fundamentally important way is whether or not they can access the internet. The ones that can access the internet can utilize the Eufy app to control the vacuum’s features and functionality. The 11S and the 11S Max are the only models that can’t use the app.

Eufy RoboVac Features

The Eufy RoboVac line of robotic vacuums has a lot of overlap within its product line. The main key differences between the different series of RoboVacs are usually just suction power and a few minor differences.

The base S-Series line isn’t internet-capable, but that is what some security-conscious consumers are looking for. The C-Series and above are all WiFi enabled and capable of utilizing the Eufy app for setup and daily use.

After that, the biggest differences are minor, usually their suction power or how they manage their cleaning paths.

Having a Eufy RoboVac is one of the many ways you can automate your house chores. Who wants to spend precious time cleaning the house anyway? Keep reading to learn about the different Eufy RoboVac models to help you around your home.

The S-Series

The S-Series of vacuums includes the RoboVac 11S and 11S Max. As Eufy’s entry-level priced vacuums, they are the most basic in terms of features out of all of the RoboVac models.

The 11S and 11S Max cannot use the internet or the Eufy app. Instead, all of the settings and cleaning schedules must be made with an included infrared remote control.

The C-Series

The C-Series is Eufy’s most popular tier of vacuum. It has many of the features of the higher, more expensive models but at a better price. The simple, basic features of most of Eufy’s vacuums are present, like a slim profile for getting under low furniture, automatic charging, etc.

The main difference between the S-Series and upgrading to the C-Series is you can use the Eufy app. With WiFi-enabled, you can use the internet to set up the device and administrate the device from anywhere in the world as long as it is connected to the internet.

Another benefit of the C-Series (and the models above the C-Series that are WiFi-enabled) is that they are compatible with digital home assistants like Google Home or Alexa. You can connect your RoboVac vacuum to your home assistant and have voice control of your vacuum instantly.

The G-Series

The G-Series is the next step up from the C-Series. It has all of the bells and whistles with a few notable upgrades that many of the big boys in the robotic vacuum arena call standard.

First and foremost is access to the internet and usage of the Eufy app. The app allows for super ease of use in setting up a cleaning schedule and cleaning settings.

Another is the ability to use smart navigation. The S-Series and C-Series use random paths and turn when encountering an obstacle. Smart navigation allows the vacuum to track and remember its path and make more logical decisions about its path. This results in fewer missed places that a random navigation system results in.

Along with automatic recharging like the lower tier models, the G-Series also has recharge-and-resume. The S-Series and C-Series vacuums can automatically charge themselves, but they need to be told manually or by schedule to resume vacuuming after charging. The G-Series fixes that, and as soon as the battery is charged, it will return to work.

The L-Series

The L-Series is Eufy’s top-of-the-line vacuum. It includes laser floor mapping to maximize coverage and ensure no missed spots. It also allows the L-Series vacuums to cover room-by-room cleaning systematically. They also more than doubled the battery size on these models to help prolong their working uptime.

Conclusion

The RoboVac 11S is the most basic model in the Eufy robotic vacuum line. It doesn’t require an internet connection, but it also doesn’t have access to one if you want access to one. At only $50 more for an upgrade to a model higher, the 15C offers an included remote control and access to the Eufy app and still doesn’t require a WiFi signal for operation.

The 15C is the most budget-friendly on this list, packed with the most features for the lowest price. It may not have some of the bells and whistles of the other models, but it will get the job done, and you won’t have to worry about your WiFi going if your kids spill something on the carpet.
