Your Remote Can Turn Off the Light on Insignia TV
The first method we’ll look at is using the remote control. If you want to turn off the lights in your TV, you’ll first need to use the remote control to turn on the lights.
Make sure your TV is on, and the source is set to “TV.” Press and hold the “Power” button on your remote control until the “Light” button begins rapidly flashing. Once the “Light” button is flashing, the light should now be turned on. After the light has been turned on, you can begin switching it off. To do so, press the “Power” button once.
The “Light” button should now stop flashing, meaning that the light has now been turned off.
